Need A Glazier?

Peter Noble Glazing is a family run business striving to deliver professional and efficient service across Edinburgh and The Lothians.

The late Peter and Margaret Noble started the business in 1968, this became Peter Noble and Son when Peter’s eldest son joined the business.

During Peter’s time in glazing he also ran the successful Midlothian Glass for many years. The busy glazing company ran from Polton Mill and was then taken over by his two sons.

No matter how big or small a job we are always happy to help some of our most successful projects include the refurbishment of the entire Edinburgh College of Art, Edinburgh University building where we worked on re-glazing and upgrading to improve the U Value of the windows with low emissivity safety glass.

Alongside this we worked on the National Museum of Scotland re-glazing bent glass from single glass to double glazed units while upgrading the existing work. An architecturally outstanding building and a huge privilege to be involved in the restoration work that has received huge recognition across the UK.

Our extensive experience extends to industrial and complex works such as Torness Power Station an industrial project to upkeep maintenance on storm damaged patent glazing using cradle access led by Ross Noble renowned for his attention to detail and work ethic.

Noble Glazing has continued in many forms over 50 years providing outstanding service across Scotland. Our team works closely with contractors, sub-contractors and private clients to deliver quality workmanship.

The family are proud to see the new generation of Noble Sons training alongside valued and experienced team members. We are delighted to work with clients no matter how big or small their requirements, we offer a no obligation free quotation service covering everything from mirror work and glass balustrades through to contemporary or traditional renovation work in both the private and commercial sector.
